As you can see from the two pictures above, everything has changed in this bathroom, from new flooring to a new, modern vanity and sinks, new tub, new shower, and the removal of an entire wall. A new bathtub can make a huge difference in the overall look of your bathroom. From this renovation, we see a completely modernized corner of the bathroom with the addition of this deep, simple tub. A freestanding bathtub is such an easy way to add a new look and feel to your bathroom. It’s also a lot easier to install and maintain.
Although it may initially feel like a freestanding tub eliminates some of your storage space – with a few little additions, you won’t have to worry about that. With this renovation, we’ve added a small simple shelf to the side of the shower (seen in the lower right-hand corner). This provides a space to keep soaps, shampoos, face cloths, and more when you’re using the tub!
The bathtub is not the only big change in this part of the bathroom. New window treatments for this large window also helps bring new life into this room. Replacing the old shutters with unique new window treatments as well as beautiful drapes helps this space feel more like a spa rather than an average bathroom!

Before the renovation, the shower and the toilet were separated by a wall with an entranceway. Although some homeowners may like this look, it can make the space seem darker and disconnected. For this renovation, we removed the additional wall and helped bring together these bathroom elements for a more cohesive and modern look.
With the removal of this extra wall, we were given more freedom to expand the shower! This ultra-modern shower is much larger than the previous one. It is bright, white, and much more functional. We’ve also added built-in shower storage right into the shower wall. This is a great way to keep your shower looking simple, without needing to add further store-bought organizers.

A new vanity can completely transform your bathroom in a way that almost nothing else can. This new vanity is grey and white – popular colours in 2018 that will continue to stay strong going into 2019. This new, modern vanity complete with new sinks really helps brighten up the bathroom in a way that the darker cabinets never could.
Not only that, but this vanity brings both style and function! It comes complete with a seating area, perfect for doing your hair in the morning or putting on makeup. You will also notice that the sinks are updated and have even moved places. Before, the two sinks were relatively close to each other. Now, they are on opposite ends of the vanity, creating a much more symmetrical look.
Another feature you may notice is a brand new mirror. This modern mirror fits perfectly against the tiered vanity’s counter. It looks quite similar to the previous mirror but adds a unique element to the bathroom. The new lights also really brighten up the room. A slightly rustic look contrasts perfectly with the modern decor.
We also see in this image the placement of the new toilet. Removing the separation wall really helps to bring more light into the back of the bathroom, as well as making the space look even larger. And did you know, a new, high-efficiency toilet can also help you save on your hydro bill – new toilets use less water than older models.
